Earwax guard helps keep your CIC hearing aids performing at their best. Earwax guards prevent accumulation of earwax. Each set contains 10 each of earwax guards.
To maintain the maximum performance of the hearing device, make sure the wax guard remains clean and un-obstructed by using the brush. Occasionally (every 2 weeks), you will change the wax guard when the hearing instrument appears to be dead or weak.
How To: remove wax guard:
Hold the hearing device gently between your thumb and index fingers.
Using the thumb and index finger of your other hand, carefully and gently peel the used wax filter off of the tip of the device. It should pop off.
How To: remove wax guard:
Push the new filter gently onto the tip of the hearing device until it snaps into place.
