EarCentric High Performance Mini BTE Hearing Aid: JOY

I got my Joy from MediNinja. It arrived on Easter day and I was to attend an Easter party in a friend’s place. Throughout the day, the device performed wonderfully, and when I got to the party, I was elated. Despite the noisy environment created by the cling of the dozens of people in attendance, and the cutleries and glass cups, the device performed exceptionally well. It produced clear human voice while cancelling out other noise. I don’t know it happened to do this and I don’t care to know. I’m another one for my granddad later today. Thank you! My doctor can read what's on my mind, which is that my hearing was shot. Due to financial difficulties, I couldn't afford even a single one because of the price. but I desperately needed them. I googled and found Medininja while searching on the web. The price was more than fair. After reading all the reviews I thought it was worth the chance. Why not? So, I decided to give them a shot. Well all I can tell you is that it is so nice to hear again! .

Unlike the previous years, I now eat with my family at the dining table without having to tell anyone to repeat they say. It’s like I’m now part of the family again. My audiologist don’t know about this. If he does, he wouldn’t have quoted a bogus price for a unit. When I couldn’t afford the price, I opted for Joy hearing aid after reading about the product reviews I saw online. This is excellent. My bad days of poor hearing are now behind me. Thank you! My Joy aids got a big upgrade with telephone mode, new tubing and tips. Thank you very much! I’ve been wearing my aids for 2 ½ years now but I couldn’t stand the tails of the tubing that stuck out of my ears, so I cut them off. Because they were uncomfortable, I didn’t wear them as regularly as I should have, but with this new tubing and tips, they fit snugly into my ear with no tails protruding! I have no problem wearing this Behind-the-Ear (BTE) hearing aid the entire day because they are so light and comfortable. This brilliant invention drastically improved my Joy hearing aids. Can you imagine paying $5,000 for a new innovative hearing aid? I couldn’t and even though I did the free trial and they did a fairly good job, they paled in comparison to EarCentric Joy. When I got the correct volume, they were in a class of their own! In settings that are challenging for hearing like auditoriums, restaurants etc., just the standard 1st channel setting on the JOY performed much better compared to the overpriced competition and the overall sound quality is far superior. My EarCentric Hearing aids are making my life, and my job, so much easier! As a car salesman, always having to ask the customer to repeat themselves wasn’t selling many cars. Now that I can hear better, I sell more cars and have more fun at work without all of the anxiety and stress of angry customers who couldn’t be heard. I hear them now and am back in the game. Every time I have to tell people that I can’t hear them due to my severe hearing loss, I feel terrible. I never really enjoyed life even during periods when I have purchase expensive hearing aids to help me. Most of them would get damaged even from minimal usage and some did not sound well. I decided to take things into my own hands when my family doctor recommended a $3800 hearing aid. Deep down in me I knew he will still have to recommend another when that one gets damaged. I wouldn’t blame him though. He was only trying to help. After months of surfing the internet and reading countless number of reviews about hearing aids, I opted for Joy 2016. In all honesty, the reason why I bought the Fit model was its affordable price. I knew I have less to lose if it happened to be like those I’ve been using before. Right from my childhood, my dad taught me to always discard off damaged properties and move on. But now, I know better.
Couple of years ago, I bought an EarCentric Joy hearing aid and could only return the favor it has been showing with bad maintenance. I didn’t keep them dry and was duly rewarded. Going by the philosophy I was taught, I got another hearing aid – not an EarCentric brand this time around! After spending $4000 on another brand of hearing aid, I had to return it because it wasn’t anywhere near what JOY offered. Like the prodigal son, I picked up my damaged Joy and sent it over for repair. And like always before, I am a happy mother whose children don’t have to yell, but talk.

My girlfriend was getting pissed by my hearing loss. I don’t hear what she says at once. Sometimes, my hearing loss makes my looks as if I was ignoring her intentionally and she was getting tired of this. Our relationship was getting boring and if I don’t profane solution fast, it will evaporate into thin air even before I call “Jack Sparrow!”
The EarCentric Joy was a perfect fit for me considering my budget. As a bartender in a local bar, I dare not chase the class of thousand dollar hearing aid.

Had a free hearing exam, I was diagnosed to have moderate loss in one ear, and moderately severe in the other. Suggested I buy two aids for an outrageous price. When I was able to quit laughing I thanked him and left. I already knew I probably needed aids, but have only a small Social Security income. So I ordered the Earcentric Joy about 2 months ago, they took about 10 minutes to get comfortable with, and I have never looked back. Had forgotten that silverware clinks, birds sing, kitchen stuff clanks! I can hear on the phone, have quit saying “What?” I can now hear one person in a roomful of people, which is relieving the isolation that had begun to come from being lost in the unintelligible noise. My previous hearing aids finally succumbed to humidity on a recent vacation we took so I looked into finding a new pair that would work better and give me the level of hearing. I looked into EarCentric and was skeptical as they were inexpensive and that usually means poor quality. My skepticism was unfounded as I received my EarCentric-Joy hearing aids and they worked much better than expected. Shortly after they arrived, my previous pair that had the humidity damage arrived and gave me an opportunity to compare the two pairs side by side. My expensive hearing aids versus my new EarCentric hearing aids. The EarCentric pair won out on price, clarity, comfort and advanced features. My old pair won in terms of smaller size, less feedback and the surround sound feature. With all of these positives for both models, I would still choose my EarCentric hearing aids over any other brand at any cost.
